Ananya Dontula is a Junior at the University of Washington. An aspiring Psychology major, she has been working with children for almost five years through tutoring positions in math, english, and writing. She has also worked as a student reporter at The Tacoma Ledger for a year and enjoys teaching students creative writing.
Ananya also has informal experience working with high school children through mentoring and helping her juniors write college application essays. She believes in an open learning environment where all ideas are welcome and students engage thoroughly in the learning process while learning to be patient, compassionate and avid researchers.
Ananya works with students individually and believes in creating a unique teaching style that fits each student. She hopes to form long lasting bonds with all of her students as they grow and prosper in school, and higher education.
